Manchester United Midfielder, Paul Pogba, is likely to return to Turin in the approaching January transfer window.
The Frenchman performed well at Juventus compared to Manchester United. His outstanding performances at Turin made him become one of the best midfielders in the world. The reason he rejoined United for a club-record fee in the year 2016.
Pogba will for sure leave United soon as his agent, Mino Raiola, publicly said that Paul would leave the club naming Juventus as one club interested in signing him.
Pogba also recently hinted about his future at Manchester United by stating it would be his “dream” to play for Real Madrid.
Juventus seems interested in signing Pogba, preferring a swap deal since his asking price is very high. From a report by Eurosport, the club considers signing Pogba in January.
Paulo Dybala and Bernardeschi are the players the Italian Champions will offer in exchange for the Frenchman.
In terms of performance, Pogba could not replicate what he put in for Juventus at Man Utd. His contract with United will end in the year 2022. Therefore there are high chances of him leaving the club.
Pogba also linked to Real Madrid.
Real Madrid are also willing to sign Pogba but only at the end of the season since the COVID-19 pandemic hit them hard on their finances.
Real Madrid Coach, Zidane, is an admirer of his fellow Frenchman and regards him as the perfect replacement for Luka Modric. Juventus will, therefore, have to act fast if they are to sign Pogba.
If Juventus gets a deal in the January transfer window, they would have overtaken Madrid, who are their immediate competitors for the Frenchman.
Pogba’s performance at Man United
Despite transfer rumours of him leaving the club, the Frenchman has remained focussed on his career at Man Utd. He has been a regular starter for Ole Gunnar and has shown stunning performances alongside Bruno Fernandes.
