Top clubs have shown interest in signing David Alaba, whose contract with Bayern ends this season. Liverpool is among the clubs, which have personally contacted Alaba about a possible summer move.
According to Fabrizio Romano, a football journalist, five clubs are interested in signing the 28-year-old with Real Madrid leading. Bayern Munich reportedly withdrew Alaba’s offer of a contract extension.
Other clubs also linked with Alaba include Real Madrid, Chelsea, and Manchester City. Alaba considers Real Madrid his dream club.
Olivier Giroud linked with a move to Juventus
According to Goal, Giroud is likely to stay at Chelsea until the end of this season despite being linked with a move to Juventus.
Juventus need a centre forward and have shown interest in signing the French forward.
Giroud’s contract with Chelsea will end this season meaning Chelsea are willing to let him go as a free agent at the end of the season.
Antoine Griezmann to remain at Barca
The Frenchman has struggled to find a role at Barcelona since his move from Atletico Madrid. Barcelona is determined to keep him and have no plans of selling him neither this month nor in the next summer.
Griezmann has only managed to score three goals in his 15 Laliga showups this season.
Real Madrid concerned about Bale’s fitness
Gareth Bale is currently on loan at Tottenham Hotspurs, expected to move back to Real Madrid at the end of the season.
Bale has only started one Premier League game since his move to Spurs. Spurs are happy with his role at the club and would like to keep him beyond his loan move.
City’s offer to De Bruyne
Kevin De Bruyne is about to commit his future to Manchester City in the next few days by signing a new contract with the club.
According to The Athletic, the Belgian is likely to earn less than what he is currently getting due to the club’s hope of signing Lionel Messi.
