Real Madrid News: Blancos likely to sign Kylian Mbappe

The reigning champions Real Madrid prepares to host Getafe in today’s Laliga match at Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.

The following are some of the Real Madrid news ahead of their game against Getafe:

Real Madrid likely to sign either Erling Haaland or Kylian Mbappe

Both Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe have been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid. Real Madrid have been on Mbappe’s radar for quite some time now, but Erling Haaland was recently added to the list.

Reports claim that Real Madrid is confident in signing one of the players or even both in the summer transfer window.

Haaland is believed to have a release clause of €75m in his deal with Borussia Dortmund, still expected to run in 2022. According to reports, Manchester City are also eyeing the Norwegian to replace Aguero.

Raphael Varane to be sold out

According to a report by Marca, the superstar is likely to make a surprise exit from Real Madrid. He already has several admirers, for instance, Chelsea, Juventus and Manchester United. They are currently seeking to improve their defensive areas.

The Frenchman has won two Laliga and three consecutive UEFA Champions League titles with Real Madrid.

Eden Hazard’s shock admission about Arsenal

Eden Hazard's shock admission about Arsenal

In other news, Eden Hazard shockingly admitted about his love for Arsenal while growing up. Hazard became the most expensive player in Real Madrid’s history when he signed for them.

The Belgian spent most of his career at Chelsea where he was very successful. He won several trophies with the Blues. Since his departure, nobody has been able to replace him at the Stamford Bridge.

Speaking about the players he looked up to, Hazard said:

“When I was little the team I watched the most was the French national teamFor me, the players I looked up to were Zinedine Zidane and Thierry Henry. It’s difficult for me to admit because of my relationship with Chelsea, but I really liked the Arsenal team at the time. They had players like Robert Pires, [Sylvain] Wiltord and [Patrick] Vieira, so it was mainly French players that I followed growing up.”

Hazard suffered an injury and he is expected to be out of play in the next 4-6 weeks.
