Sergio Ramos: Messi can stay with me if he signs for Real

According to Reuters, Sergio Ramos has offered to host Lionel Messi at his home when he decides to join him at Real Madrid.

Messi’s contract with Barcelona will end this year, and he will be able to leave Camp Nou as a free agent.

Ramos has therefore promised to host Messi for a while as he goes to find a home for himself.

“Of course, 100%!” Ramos said on Twitch show ‘Charlando Tranquilamente’ when asked if he would welcome Messi to Real.

“He could stay at mine for the first week or so. He can find his feet and get comfy, I’d be more than happy to do that.

“Us Madrid fans have had to endure Leo’s best years (with him at another team) so to not have to face him every week would be great and to have him with us would obviously help us to win and have more success. It would be stupid to say it wouldn’t.”

Ramos’s contract with Real Madrid will also end this year. However, he made it clear that he would not be moved to join Barcelona when he leaves Los Blancos.

“Absolutely no chance! I like (new Barca president Joan) Laporta, I’ve met him and I liked him,” said Ramos.

“But it’s the same as not seeing Xavi, (Carles) Puyol or even Messi signing for Madrid; it works the other way too and there’s those of us who would never play for Barca.

“There’s some things money can’t buy.”

Barcelona and Messi were knocked out of the Champions League by PSG in the last round of 16. They drew 1-1 on Tuesday night with PSG triumphing on a 5-2 aggregate.

Messi and Ronaldo will miss this season’s Champions League’s quarter-finals, for the first time since 2004-05.

The duo has dominated European football for years, with many people believing that their era has ended.

Manager hints at date for Kylian Mbappe to complete Real Madrid transfer

Carlo Ancelotti seems to have hinted at a move for Paris Saint-Germain ace Kylian Mbappe.

The Frenchman’s deal at PSG is coming to an end, and he will be one of a slew of rising free agents available next summer.

Kylian Mbappe is expected to have a lengthy list of suitors if he does not sign a new contract at the Parc des Princes, but it’s possible that Madrid is already assured in getting this trade done.

Ancelotti wanted to focus on his team’s goals for this season when asked about ambitions to sign Mbappe.

He did, however, specify a possible move date for Mbappe to the Bernabeu.

“I don’t know. We think we will continue to fight for titles,” he told reporters, as quoted by Goal.

“It’s an interesting moment because we’re back in La Liga, we have the Copa del Rey on Wednesday. It’s an important moment.

“[Moving for Mbappe is] the last thing to do, which I think is what will happen on June 30.”

After a rough few years, signing Mbappe on a free transfer may be a game-changer for Real.

Real Madrid are no longer the powerhouse they were few years back, when Zinedine Zidane led them to three consecutive Champions League finals, with Ronaldo still at the side and at his prime.

However, if they can sign Mbappe, it will be a significant show of purpose, especially given how poorly their main rivals, Barcelona, are failing right now.

Los Blancos are famed for bringing in Galacticos, and Mbappe is destined to become one of the top stars in international football.

Real Madrid interested in Liverpool defender Joe Gomez

According to BBC Sport, Real Madrid are “monitoring” the England international and Liverpool centre-back Joe Gomez.

This season, Gomez has been left on the bench by Jurgen Klopp, who has preferred to play both Matip and the club’s recent signing Ibrahima Konate.

The 24-year-old’s form has considerably been affected by injuries, the reason why he was consistently unavailable in most of last season’s matches.

Gomez has more than three years left on his deal with Liverpool. According to the report, Real Madrid has not approached the Merseyside club regarding a transfer.

According to BBC Sport, while Real Madrid is interested in signing Gomez and a centre back, the club believes it will be impossible to accomplish so in the January transfer window.

The Spanish club has also been linked with a summer move for Chelsea centre-back Antonio Rüdiger, who will become a free agent if he does not sign a new deal with the Blues.

Camavinga: "Real Madrid is the biggest club in the world"

Real Madrid’s latest signing Eduardo Camavinga discussed his thoughts and views about settling in Madrid with the club’s television channel.

Camavinga lauded his teammates, revealing that one of them promised to wait for him.

”Real Madrid is the biggest club in the world and has won the most titles ever. It’s a club that makes people dream and has won more trophies than any other in history. Just look at the number of European Cups they’ve won. We all dream of Real Madrid from when we’re kids,” said Camavinga.

“I spoke to Mendy a while back and he told me he was waiting for me there. I’ll bring all my character, fight on the pitch, technique and joyful approach to life. That’s what I’ll give Real Madrid,” he explained.

Casemiro, Modric, and Kroos will likely start ahead of Camvinga in the rotation. Camavinga will surely learn from the world-class midfielders as time goes by.

“They have won so many titles. Learning from them every day is a pleasure and I hope to follow in their footsteps,” said the Frenchman.

Camavanga will definitely learn Spanish with time, but Ancelotti himself is excellent in French, which helped him in the early stages of his tenure as manager.

“He speaks great French, so that makes things easier. We’ve spoken, it was really nice to touch base,” he concluded.
