West Ham concerned Jesse Lingard won’t be available v Burnley

According to Sun journalist Duncan Wright, Jesse Lingard is a big doubt for West Ham’s match against Burnley on Monday night at Turf Moor.

Writing on the Sun’s live blog on Tuesday, Wright reported that Lingard “underwent intensive treatment on his aching legs” last week to ensure he could play against the Blues last weekend.

However, it is believed that the on-loan Manchester United attacker is still hampered by the injury, and the Hammers are worried about whether he will be able to play against Burnley in the London club’s next match.

West Ham’s quest to qualify for the Champions League has been hit by a series of setbacks in recent weeks, with losses to Chelsea and Newcastle exacerbating David Moyes’ injury woes.

Declan Rice, Michail Antonio, Aaron Cresswell, and Arthur Masuaku have all been ruled out with different injuries, and the fans don’t want Lingard to be ruled out against Burnley on Monday.
