Tielemans has joined the Belgium team ahead of the European Championships, where his country is one of the favourites to win the competition on July 11th.

Youri Tielemans is expected to postpone making a decision about his future until after Euro 2020.

His current contract is set to expire in 2023.

The midfielder is being linked with Liverpool and Manchester United after another fantastic season for Leicester City, while the Foxes are desperate to tie him down to a new contract.

And according to Eurosport, “sources are indicating that he will not rush into signing a new contract just yet”.

The report adds “he could boost his profile even further with a successful tournament and does not want to limit his options at this stage”.

If Tielemans decides to wait until after the Euros to make a choice, his future might be decided as late as the middle of July, with Belgium being one of the favourites to win the tournament.

Belgium are in Group B with Denmark, Finland and Russia.
