Noa Lang to Leeds United: Whites tracking Dutch star as fresh links emerge

A flurry of attacking talents have been linked with Leeds United ahead of the summer transfer window.

The market is open, and though Leeds are famed for getting their deals done early, there has been no action from the Whites so far.

On the Phil Hay Show podcast, Director of Football Victor Orta stated that in a perfect world, Leeds United would have recruited all of their new players by July 1st, allowing for a complete pre-season program.

This is to avoid situations like Rodrigo Moreno’s this season, where fresh players aren’t up to speed when the season starts.

Despite a campaign in which fans were only permitted to attend Elland Road on the last day, it is widely assumed that Leeds will spend this summer.

Noa Lang of Club Brugge has been linked with a move in the last month or so.

The Belgian had been linked with a move to Elland Road earlier in the year, and his name has now been bolstered by comments from transfer analyst Fabrizio Romano.

Lang was initially mentioned in the Telegraph in May, with the 21-year-old poised to join Club Brugge on a permanent basis at the end of the month following a loan from Ajax.

According to the Italian journalist, Lang is on the Whites’ shortlist, and Marcelo Bielsa is close to signing a new contract.

According to GVA, which is located in Lang’s home country of the Netherlands, Brugge would only be interested in selling Lang for €25 million, which is the club’s outgoing transfer record.

Although Leeds paid more than that for Rodrigo Moreno last summer, a deal with Lang would make him one of the club’s most costly signings.
