Arsenal want up to six new signings this summer

According to a source in England, Arsenal is planning to make up to six additions in the summer transfer window of 2021.

The Gunners are reportedly planning to rebuild their team this summer, according to Goal, ahead of Mikel Arteta’s second full season in charge.

According to the same story, Arsenal is interested in signing Brighton defender Ben White as well as Anderlecht starlet Albert Lokonga to reinforce Arteta’s defense.

Arsenal have made landing Lokonga and White a priority for the summer transfer window this year, with Arsenal technical director Edu working on both deals.

Arsenal are reportedly trying to sign another midfielder even if Lokonga is signed because Granit Xhaka, Matteo Guendouzi, and Lucas Torreira are all expected to leave this summer, according to Goal.

According to Goal Arsenal have initiated preliminary talks about signing Ruben Neves, but Brighton holding midfielder Yves Bissouma could be a more cost-effective option.

The Gunners are reportedly considering Leicester City playmaker James Maddison after losing out on a permanent deal for Real Madrid’s Norway international Martin Odegaard, according to the source.

Arsenal is also looking to bring in one or two new goalkeepers, depending on whether Bernd Leno quits the club.

According to the report, the Gunners are considering Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana and Sheffield United goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale as prospective Leno successors.

After his loan time at Arsenal, Mat Ryan might sign a permanent deal, according to the report.
