This week, David Moyes appointed his own son to the West Ham United backroom staff.

After signing a three-year contract with the Hammers, the Scotsman is looking to bolster his squad, and David Moyes Jr has joined the scouting team.

The information was released late Sunday night by the Daily Mail, with more appointments scheduled in the coming days.

During his second term in command, Moyes has gotten most things right yet again, but he might easily become a blame if this turns out wrong.

According to the Daily Mail, Moyes believed his scouting crew was short on choices at the London Stadium and wanted a move made right away.

The Hammers should have a full team recruiting players over the summer, with more senior appointments coming.

The club expect new additions now that the window has been open for a few weeks.

Moyes has expanded his squad and is seeking additional appointments, so he should have a long list of players to choose from.

With Europa League action on top West Ham’s regular obligations next season, Moyes will need a strong team.

There are two main areas in particular that require improvement, notably the final third and midfield, but that isn’t all.

All across the pitch, Moyes is short on choices, and if these appointments will assist, the fans are all for it.
