Declan Rice has turned down two contract offers from West Ham United, which has alerted potential suitors.

According to the Telegraph, the England international will turn down any more offers to extend his contract and will instead wait to see if Manchester United or Chelsea formalize their interest in him with an official offer.

Rice’s personal terms are not cheap, according to Euro Sport, as he would be demanding for roughly £200,000 per week plus signing-on fees from suitors, with Stamford Bridge being the most likely destination.

Javier Hernandez, earned roughly £140,000 a week at West Ham, and Rice certainly deserves more.

He doesn’t appear to be earning up to that level right now, and he believes he certainly deserves £200,000 per week.

He is currently outside the top five earnings at the London Stadium, according to The Telegraph, and one of the lowest earners in the England squad.

There is no doubt that the club has underpaid him given how important he has been to us over the last two seasons.

It’s unclear whether the Hammers will agree to his demands, but it’s unlikely, and Rice may have already made up his mind about leaving.

Man Utd and Chelsea would not hesitate to pay him what he is worth while also providing him with the opportunity to compete for club football’s top prizes.

The Hammers are unable to meet his personal demands and objectives, and it will be incredibly difficult to retain their most valuable assets if nothing changes in the near future.
