Last year, Leeds United revealed that JD had signed a one-year arrangement to be the club’s first official shirt sleeve sponsor.
The organization has now reached an arrangement with the Whites to extend their partnership in LS11 for another year.
For the new season, JD will be United’s official retail partner, with an “extensive distribution program” that will see Elland Road club’s replica jersey and training wear distributed in stores across the UK, Europe, and the United States.
For the next season, the JD’s logo will be placed on the front of all junior replica shirts.
Leeds United Executive Director Paul Bell said: “JD is one of the most recognised names on the high street and one of the world’s biggest retailers and we’re delighted to extend our strategic partnership with them.
“JD has an impressive portfolio of over 3,000 stores across 20 International territories including some key target markets for the club.
“The extension of our agreement will help the club to broaden its global retail footprint and allow Leeds fans easier access to our merchandise on the high street.”
Peter Cowgill, Chairman of JD Sports Fashion PLC, said: ”We’re delighted to renew our partnership with Leeds for the forthcoming season.
“The positive intent shown by the club both on and off the field is something which we want to be associated with and we wish them every success in the new campaign.”
