'Monstrous' bid prepared as Jurgen Klopp forms midfield plan
Liverpool ready to sell five players to boost Klopp's transfer budget

The Reds are reportedly willing to sell up to five players this summer to help Jurgen Klopp’s transfer budget.

So far, the Reds have been somehow quiet in the transfer window, with only Ibrahima Konate joining from RB Leipzig, despite the fact that more reinforcements are undoubtedly required.

According to the Liverpool Echo, up to five players could be sold in order to earn £60-70 million to boost the club’s transfer budget.

Divock Origi, Xherdan Shaqiri, Nat Phillips, Harry Wilson, and Neco Williams are among the players that could go, according to the report.

If Liverpool can get the mentioned players off their books, it will be a good move, as none of them is expected to be regular starters at Anfield.

Shaqiri and Origi have had their chances, but they don’t appear to be talented enough to make a regular contribution, while Phillips had a mixed season in the side last season when Klopp was dealing with an injury crisis in defence.

Wilson has spent a lot of time on loan and doesn’t appear to have what it takes to be a crucial player for a team like Liverpool, while Williams also appears to be battling to climb the pecking order.
