Napoli are seeking a left-back this summer, and have identified Liverpool’s Tsimikas as one of their possibilities.

The Greece international signed for the Reds from Olympiacos last summer, but Jurgen Klopp gave him little game time, preferring Andrew Robertson and James Milner on many occasions.

Tsimikas wants to ensure that he gets more playing time in the upcoming season, according to the Italian publication Gazzetta Dello Sport.

He is also open to the possibility of relocating to Napoli.

Napoli are interested in signing Chelsea’s Emerson Palmieri, who has been identified by coach Luciano Spalletti, although the two clubs have yet to strike a deal.

Chelsea want €20 million for Emerson and are expected to turn down a loan offer from Napoli.

Napoli will not wait any longer to complete a deal for Emerson, and it is expected that if no agreement is reached within the week, they will pursue Tsimikas.
