Man United duo Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard free to leave

Both Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard’s contracts at Man United are coming to an end in the next six months.

The midfielders are now allowed to talk to foreign teams about a pre-contract arrangement before their contracts expire on June 30.

They have both been linked with exits from the team in recent months after struggling to secure regular first-team spots in this campaign.

Pogba is currently injured and hasn’t played in a Premier League match since October, while Lingard is yet to start in a top-flight fixture this season.

Lingard had a successful loan spell at West Ham United in the second half of last season but decided to stay at Man United to compete for his spot.

However, neither Ole Gunnar Solskjaer nor Ralf Rangnick has included him in their plans, and he now looks poised to leave the club in 2022, despite reports of interest from Newcastle United and the Hammers.

West Ham to sign Jesse Lingard on loan

Meanwhile, Real Madrid, Juventus, and Paris Saint-Germain are reported to be monitoring Pogba’s situation, with the Red Devil’s record signing currently available for nothing next summer as of now.
