Farhad Moshiri is planning another boardroom change, two appointments proposed

Farhad Moshiri is planning yet another shake-up in Everton’s boardroom, with further appointments coming soon.

This is according to Phil Kirkbride, who says two appointments were in the works before Graeme Sharp was elevated this week.

It’s possible that more than two will happen, with Farhad Moshiri having a large say because he doesn’t have a “owner’s representative” on the board.

Kirkbride wrote in the Liverpool Echo this morning about the latest developments in the Goodison Park boardroom.

“Everton’s boardroom has been shaken all about in the last six years,” he wrote. “Eight appointments, six departures. And more change to come?

“The ECHO understands that, prior to Sharp’s elevation to the boardroom, at least two additions were being lined up, but maybe more.

“Moshiri no longer has, what the club have called, an owner’s representative on the board, so expect that any further bolster of the ranks will include, at least one, of the majority shareholder’s picks,” he wrote.

After many transfer blunders, Marcel Brands was shown the exit door, and others have followed suit.

The Toffees must reclaim their glory days; it has become far too long, and Moshiri cannot afford to make another blunder in his decision-making.

It appears that further selections to this new-look board will be made in the near future; let’s hope they will move us forward.
