The Juventus player completed a headline-grabbing loan move to Ibrox earlier this week, signing a deal that will keep him at the club until the end of the season.
But he was forced to watch from the stands as Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s team lost 3-0 to the Old Firm and lost their Premiership lead just hours later.
Ramsey, on the other hand, is in contention for a starting spot against the Jambos, as Van Bronckhorst looks to have Alfredo Morelos back in his lineup following a tough international week with Colombia.
In recent weeks, the attacker has been absent from Rangers’ World Cup qualifiers against Peru and Argentina, and his absence has been noticeable as the club has drew with Ross County and then lost to Celtic.
Morelos, on the other hand, might return to the Light Blues’ frontline as Rangers look to put their Old Firm disaster behind them and reclaim some title confidence.
Van Bronckhorst said: “Yes, Alfredo trained on Friday. He came back late on Thursday night.
“I think he had three flights again coming back from Colombia but he trained as normal on Friday and he will be available for Sunday.
“The only one who is not available is (Ianis) Hagi, of course, with his injury. The other ones are available.
“Aaron Ramsey had a session on Friday that also went really good. We have to assess him today but he looks good as well. So we can add more players on Sunday.”
