Rangers set to make major player decision, two year payout could happen

Reports from Scotland indicate Rangers are putting into consideration the contract termination of teenager Josh McPake.

McPake’s future at Ibrox looks bleak after spending disappointing loan seasons with Tranmere and Morecambe trying to improve his skills with no impact.

The 20-year-old player has come under fire following his attitude recently, with the Bears expressing dissatisfaction with his general development as an individual.

Rangers’ McPake is arguably running out of favour at Rangers as he struggles to impress in the third and fourth tiers of English football.

The situation has raised concerns about his performance in Scottish football as well as the competitive European competitions in the process.

Meanwhile, his mates, such as Alex Lowry, are putting in an effort and the results are visible. Rangers are thinking about diverting McPake’s wages to another deserving player.

It is, however, a tough decision for the coaching staff at Rangers to make, but with the player’s current form, a contract termination could be an option.
