CBS journalist Ben Jacobs has discussed transfer-bound Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus’ future on The Done Deal Show.

The Brazilian striker is heavily linked with a move away from the Etihad, with both London clubs, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal, showing interest in his signature.

This has further been fueled by the arrival of Erling Halland from Borussia Dortmond.

However, Ben Jacobs has revealed that West Ham United have also been keenly keeping an eye on Jesus, who has 58 English Premier League goals to his name.

“Arsenal are very much interested. There isn’t much substance to the Chelsea links, Newcastle have circled in the past, West Ham have looked at him, but they’re more likely to try and get Armando Broja from Chelsea for a lower fee, so Arsenal can consider themselves in the mix for this deal, but, as of yet, they’ve not tabled an offer, they’ve made enquiries, they’ve spoken about terms and they believe they can get a deal over the line,” Jacobs said.

The Hammers are arguably in for a hard competition but have an alternative. In any case, they miss out on Jesus. If they fail to sign Gabriel Jesus, West Ham United are also looking for ways to land Armando Broja from Chelsea.
