According to Sportdog, PAOK is prepared to sell Antonio Colak, who is being pursued by Rangers, for £2.5 million as they aim to replace the Croatian international striker.

The potential threat of Colak has already been demonstrated to Gers supporters.

When Malmo, down to ten players, came from behind to defeat the Glasgow giants 2-1 at Ibrox during the qualification round, it was he who struck a fatal blow to Rangers’ Champions League chances.

While on loan in Sweden in 2021–2022, Colak scored 22 goals overall. His record speaks for itself, despite the fact that he may have failed at his parent club, PAOK. In three of the last five campaigns, Colak has netted more than 19 goals.

Alfredo Morelos’ future is uncertain as he reaches the final year of his deal, and Rangers are said to have made a bid of around £1.5 million for the former Hoffenheim and Rijeka player.

PAOK turned down that proposal. However, it’s believed that they might accept it if Rangers increased their offer to £2.5 million.

PAOK won’t get in Colak’s way, according to the Greek daily Sportdog. Keita Balde Diao, a former forward for Lazio, Barcelona, Monaco, and Inter Milan, might take his place, but the Senegal international’s pay demands present a challenge.

Keita, now 27 years old, scored just three goals as Cagliari were demoted from Serie A last season.
