Leeds United are working hard to sign Mohamed Camara from RB Salburg, a deal that will cost them £26 million.

Kalvin Phillips appears destined to leave the Whites since he is close to joining Manchester City.

That is a significant setback for Leeds, but few would object to his significant transfer to the Premier League champions.

Leeds’ midfield will suffer greatly from Phillips’ departure, and the Whites may wind up bringing in two players to fill the void.

German news outlets on Sunday claimed that Leeds were close to signing Tyler Adams, a midfielder for RB Leipzig.

Adams is expected to sign a contract worth around £13 million, but he may not be the only midfielder to join the team soon.

Brenden Aaronson and Rasmus Kristensen were both acquired by Jesse Marsch through a raid on Salzburg, the players’ previous club.

Since Camara has already collaborated with Adams at the New York Red Bulls and RB Leipzig, he might possibly join the Leeds manager in yet another reunion.

According to Salzburger Nachrichten, a deal for Camara to join Leeds might go through very soon.

According to reports, negotiations between Leeds and Salzburg came to a halt but are suddenly picking up speed.

According to the source, Leeds are prepared to reinvest the money from Phillips and pay €30 million (£26 million) to sign Camara.
