Cody Drameh’s dream of an EPL return in a Leeds shirt came under threat following the signing of Rasmus Kristensen, who, together with the currently injured Luke Ayling, leaves almost no chance for Drameh’s first team appearance.

This necessitates not just the club’s but his (Cody’s) decision to leave, hence the recent transfer news surrounding him.

The Cardiff City 2021–2022 Player Of The Season was linked to Championship side Swansea for a supposed loan deal that could see him spend 2022–2023 in the English Championship.

There are reports, however, that talks are on a halt following Leeds’ decision to release him permanently, which was somehow expected.

As Wales Online reports, Swansea might miss out on the 20-year old because they allegedly cannot afford the Whites’ asking price to permanently release the full-back two years prior to his contract expiry.

The England U-21 impressed at Cardiff, earning boss Steve Morrison’s praise for his brilliance since he joined them this January, but Leeds seemingly find him expendable anyway.

His prowess in defense with Cardiff gained pursuers, among them Swansea, and various clubs could want his signature, but if the Whites insist on a buy-only option, interested parties could keep off.

With so much potential, hopefully he finds another club that values his talent enough to not just fulfill Leeds’ demands but allow him enough game time, or proves himself irreplaceable at Leeds.
