Tottenham boss Antonio Conte has had a busy transfer period this summer, having signed six players so far. According to recent reports from various sources, Conte is far from done and now targets Roma’s Zaniolo.
CMW allege that Juve, who reportedly also want Zaniolo after losing Dybala to Roma, want Tottenham’s Lucas Moura too.
Their (CMW) report revealed Conte’s determination to get Zaniolo no matter the cost, so he will probably be open to an exchange deal involving Nicolo and Moura with Juventus.
Roma, who have so far rejected all proposals are said to have demanded 50m Euro’s for Zaniolo and won’t lower their price despite negotiations with the Spurs and the Old Lady.
The English and Italian interested parties haven’t given up though, even with the latest worrying reports (Romapress) that Roma aren’t the least bit interested in selling the 23-year old.
Both sides will go as far as disposing off some of their expendable players to raise funds for Zaniolo (report by Tuttosport), who isn’t just great in midfield but on the wings and at the front.
Though Antonio is ready to go all out, he could be on the losing end if Juve, whom Zaniolo supposedly was a fan of in his childhood, manage to get an acceptable price for the Italian.
Spurs want to reinforce their midfield and attack, while dethroned Juventus almost desperately need a Dybala replacement, so who will dig deeper into their pockets?
That aside, if Roma really sells, will Zaniolo choose to expand his horizons in England or stay home in Italy?
