Atalanta eye Forest striker as Hojlund replacement amid United move
Atalanta reportedly want to sign Nottingham Forest striker Emmanuel Dennis to replace Rasmus Hojlund, who is on his way to Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United.
According to TMW, Manchester United are on the verge of signing Rasmus Hojlund from Atalanta.
The Italian news outlet has claimed that Premier League club United have reached an agreement with Serie A outfit Atalanta over the transfer of Hojlund this summer.
According to Sky Sports, United will pay Atalanta an initial fee of £64 million for the 20-year-old Denmark international striker.
Hojlund made 20 starts and 12 substitute appearances in Serie A for Atalanta last season.
The young forward scored nine goals and gave two assists in those matches.
Atalanta need to find a replacement.
According to TMW, the Italian club are now trying to sign Emmanuel Dennis from Nottingham Forest in the summer transfer window.
Atalanta are reportedly back in contact regarding Dennis.
In our opinion, Nottingham Forest should sell Emmanuel Dennis to Atalanta in the summer transfer window.
If Forest get a decent transfer fee, then they should not think twice about cashing in on the 25-year-old Nigeria international striker.
The striker has failed to make a huge impact at the City Ground, and it is hard to see things get better for him at Forest.
Dennis made six starts and 13 substitute appearances in the Premier League for Forest last season.
The Nigeria international striker scored two goals and gave two assists in those matches.
The 25-year-old has made 52 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
The striker has scored 12 goals and given eight assists in those games.
