Bayern Munich are reportedly considering Everton forward Richarlison de Andrade as the transfer-bound Robert Lewandowski’s replacement.

The Bavarians are desperately looking to seal the gap that Lewandowski is leaving behind after failing to renew his contract with the Bundesliga champions.

Lewandowski is believed to have his eyes set on a potential switch to La Liga outfit Barcelona after the Catalans secured a spot in next season’s UEFA Champions League.

Richarlson has surprisingly emerged as the first option to step into the big shoes of Lewandoski at Bayern, with the Brazilian forward also on the radar of Premier League moneybags Newcastle United.

The young South American forward is facing an uncertain future at Goodison Park with Everton risking relegation from the English Premier League with only two points above the drop zone.

Richarlson has been attracting attention from the European big guns. In the past Barcelona, Real Madrid and PSG had all developed interest in securing the signature of the highly rated striker.

While still at Everton, Carlo Ancelotti had to convince Richarlison to stay and not to listen to Barcelona’s offers. The experienced gaffer was tipped to sign Richarlson from the Toffees after rejoining the Los Blancos in the summer but the deal never materialised.

As Real Madrid were planning to break the bank for the services of Kylian Mbappe from French giants PSG most recently, Richarlson also hit the headlines as the perfect man to seal the void that was to be created by Mbappe’s departure.

Richarlison has always wanted to play in the prestigious Champions League with Everton, but his dream looks bleak at the moment. This could be his perfect time to play under the floodlights of European football elsewhere.
