According to Tuttomercatoweb, Celtic are’very interested’ in Stal Mielec striker Said Hamulic as Ange Postecoglou searches the market for a potential Giorgios Giakouamkis successor.

Hamulic and Celtic’s fugitive Greek international are both 6 feet 2 inches tall, powerful, deadly in the penalty area, and excellent link players.

The center-forward, who is Dutch-born, might provide the Scottish Premiership champions a new dimension in the last third.

Hamulic is possibly a more “all-around” number nine than Giakoumakis, who essentially does all of his greatest work within the width of the posts.

Hamulic is speedy and far more fluid than you might anticipate considering his rangy physique, and he likes to drop deep before rushing towards the penalty area. Yes, he is terrific in the air, but he is also a terrifying long-range striker.

Giakoumakis is “poised” to depart Parkhead in January as a result of a breakdown in contract discussions, therefore Hamulic may not merely be a replacement.

He might be an improvement, a striker with Giakoumakis’ predatory traits and his own, more varied skill set (Daily Record).

According to TMW, teams in Belgium, France, Italy, and the Netherlands are all keeping an eye on the highly sought-after 22-year-old. However, Celtic seem to be in front of the line.

“One thing must be confirmed: there are indeed a lot of inquiries from Poland and abroad. Scouts from all over Europe come to our every game and observe (Hamulic),” Stal Mielec president Jacek Klimek tells Nowiny24.

“We have a lot of calls. If the amount offered by the interested club is very high, and the player wants to leave at all costs, then we will have to sit down and discuss it. The interest is huge.”

In 17 Polish Ekstraklasa games this season, Hamulic has nine goals and four assists. The asking price for Stal Mielic’s free-scoring talisman is unknown. Goal Poland feels that the starting bid should be greater than one million euros.

Celtic are also keeping an eye on South Korean World Cup shooter Cho Gue-Sung and Slovakian international Ladislav Almasi (Scottish Sun).
