The club’s chief and manager of Roma, Tiago Pinto and Jose Mourinho, have stated that there is no return for Nicolo Zaniolo at Roma, who is a target for West Ham and Tottenham.

West Ham manager David Moyes and Tottenham’s Antonio Conte are strongly linked to a transfer for the outcast Zaniolo from Roma.

Zaniolo recently requested to leave Roma after falling out with the fans, leading to a competition between West Ham and Tottenham for his signature.

West Ham have proposed a long-term loan offer with a buy obligation, while Spurs are interested in only a loan, and Zaniolo was previously reported to prefer a move to Tottenham.

Bournemouth attempted to beat West Ham and Tottenham with a permanent move offer, but the player’s agent’s meeting with the club ended in failure and Zaniolo insisted on moving to a larger club.

Zaniolo received insult from Roma fans through a giant banner due to his rejection of Bournemouth’s offer.

West Ham and Spurs have not given up on signing Zaniolo, and the club chief says he is eager to sell him within the next 48 hours due to Financial Fair Play regulations.

The club chief and manager have indicated that there is no future for Zaniolo at Roma, and they hope he will agree to leave the club under FFP pressure.

“I have no problem answering that question, now everyone knows what happened. Nicolò asked the club to leave, along with his agent we tried in every way to find a solution, this solution arrived and might not Nicolò might not be very happy with the solution,” Tiago Pinto told DAZN.

“We’re all in a difficult situation now, because he put in the transfer request and with all the Financial Fair Play parameters we have around us, we cannot afford to just accept Zaniolo saying no and us signing a replacement.

“There are 48 hours to go in the transfer window, we’ll see what happens, but it is truly a difficult situation for the club and everyone.”

Mourinho doubled down on the future of the West Ham and Tottenham target, stating: “When you are not happy in a family situation, you have to leave, you have to find a solution. Family is for those who want to be there.”

West Ham and Tottenham are expected to try and negotiate a deal with Roma as the club is under pressure to comply with Financial Fair Play rules.

The future of Nicolo Zaniolo remains uncertain as the transfer window nears its close, and it remains to be seen if West Ham or Tottenham will successfully secure his signature.
