According to 90min, the Magpies are willing to sign Edin Dzeko, a former Manchester City striker, from Inter Milan this month.

Newcastle boss Eddie Howe, according to the source, wants to recruit a new forward this month.

The Magpies are now without Callum Wilson, and they are in serious risk of being relegated from the Premier League at the completion of the campaign.

They have enquired about Edin Dzeko, according to 90min, but Inter have turned them down.

The Italian champions, Inter Milan, are said to be adamant about not selling the Bosnia and Herzegovina attacker.

Newcastle’s chances of signing Edin Dzeko in the midst of the season are little to none.

Inter are the reigning Italian champions, and they have a chance to repeat as winners this season.

So far this season,  the former Man City attacker has netted eight goals and provided three assists.

In six Champions League appearances, the Inter forward has three goals and one assist.
