Everton have valued their star forward Richarlison at £70 million amid interest from various clubs, among them Chelsea.
According to the Daily Mail, any club plotting to make a move for the Brazilian attacker will be required to place an offer ranging in the region of £70 million for him to leave Goodison Park.
The newspaper has further shared information that former Premier League winners Chelsea are interested in a deal in the summer.
This has been occasioned by the possibility of Belgian forward Romelu Lukaku considering a return to Inter Milan on loan after rejoining the Blues last summer from Inter.
Lukaku has failed to meet the expectations at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea finished last season without a trophy despite reaching the FA and Carabao Cup finals before losing both trophies to Liverpool.
In his Daily Window Watch feature, Simon Jones has reported; “Chelsea have revived interest in Everton’s £70m-rated forward Richarlison as Romelu Lukaku heads for Inter Milan.”
The mentioned release fee is reportedly the bare minimum that Everton are demanding.
Farhad Moshiri paid £40 million for the Brazilian from Watford, meaning £70 million will likely be the starting price amid other Premier League clubs such as Tottenham Hotspur also showing interest in the South American.
Richarilson was on top of his game at Goodison Park towards the end of last season and managed to save Frank Lampard’s side from the jaws of relegation.
