West Ham United will be seeking to continue with their fine run in this season’s Uefa Europa League when they host Rapid Vienna on Thursday.

The David Moyes side started the campaign on a winning note after brushing aside Dinamo Zagreb 2-0 in their group H opening fixture a fortnight ago.

Heading into this particular tie, the Hammers have fewer injury concerns as they aim to storm the knockout stages of the competition.

West Ham’s only concern is the availability of Ryan Fredericks, who is doubtful for the match owing to his groin injury.

Going by his last four outings with the London-based outfit in all competitions, David Moyes has been recording quite impressive results.

After beating  Zagreb 2-0 in their opening Europa League game,  West Ham narrowly lost  2-1 to Manchester United in the Premier League.

The team regrouped and came back to knock Manchester United United out of the EFL Cup with a 1-0 win at Old Trafford a few days later.

Their latest result is a convincing  2-1 victory against Leeds United at the weekend.

Rapid have been in poor form. They bottled their opening Europa League game by going down 1-0 to Genk before losing  2-0 to RB Salzburg in the Austrian Bundesliga match.

They, however, found the rhythm to beat Flyeralarm Admira 3-0 in the Austrian Cup.

The Austrian side then fell 3-0 to Sturm Graz at the weekend, proving they are not in good shape for competitive contests like the Europa League.
