Rangers will face Malmo tomorrow night in a bid to qualify for the Champions League.
Despite the several injury cases and suspensions, Steven Gerrard insists the club has more than enough players to play.
With a comfortable win over Livingston last weekend, the Light Blues will travel to Sweden for their first-round match against Malmo.
Leon Balogun, Glen Kamara, and Kemar Roofe are all suspended for tomorrow night’s game, while Ryan Jack and Ianis Hagi are expected to miss out due to injury. Alfredo Morelos is also unlikely to play due to his quarantine.
Gerrard is convinced that the Gers can hold on and take a first-leg advantage back to Ibrox, putting Rangers in the driving seat for a playoff spot.
“We are used to this sort of schedule, it is the reason why I have built a strong squad as is impossible to ask the same 11 players to go every match,” Gerrard said, as quoted by the club’s official Twitter account.
“We have a few suspensions and injuries for this match but we have more than enough to put a good team out.”
After keeping a number of key players out against Livingston last weekend, Gerrard is expected to reintroduce many of them tomorrow night as Rangers aim to move closer to a Champions League windfall.
