After a strong start to the season, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is looking to rebuild his Manchester United side and position the Red Devils for a title challenge in the Premier League this season.
The Red Devils presented Raphael Varane to Old Trafford before beating Leeds 5-1 on the season opener of the Premier League season. Varane’s arrival follows that of Jadon Sancho.
No loan move for Jesse Lingard
Manchester United have no plans of allowing Jesse Lingard leave Old Trafford on loan again, according to the Daily Mail.
Lingard, 28, had a good loan spell with the Hammers from February to May, scoring nine goals in 16 League Matches, and Solskjaer insists he will keep him.
However, rumours continue that the England international might still sign a contract before the deadline.
Lingard is valued at £25 million by United for a permanent transfer, according to the report.
Pereira set to leave
Andreas Pereira is said to be in talks to return to Brazil and sign a loan deal with Flamengo.
Both sides are ‘optimistic’ that a deal may be struck shortly, according to Brazilian publication Globo Esporte.
The Red Devils have previously claimed that they would like to transfer Pereira permanently, but the 25-year-old appears to be heading out on his fourth loan away from the club.
