New Tottenham manager, Antonio Conte, wants the team to revolve, and his search for new signings include 34-year old Hugo Lloris’ replacement, since Conte stresses the importance of an informed goalkeeper.

The Italian manager, as reported by The Telegraph, has his eyes on Everton and England No. 1, Jordan Pickford, whose current form has earned praise and recognition from fans.

Overcoming injuries, criticism, and even calls to be dropped as England’s number one, Pickford has proven himself repeatedly by producing major saves for both club and country, apparently earning Conte’s recognition.

The goalkeeper has two and a half years before his contract at Everton ends, and looking at the form he has been displaying lately, Rafa Benitez might not let Conte have him (so easily). Furthermore, Pickford seems content with the Toffees, as suggested by his comments.

“…Everton is the people’s club and there’s huge passion…That’s what I thrive for-seeing the fans have a good time,” the 27-year old stated. After last Friday’s game against Albania, in which Jordan was brilliant, Everton fans celebrated and recognized him as the deserving England No. 1, which perhaps justifies the player’s love for the Toffees.

Regarding his drive to win, the Englishman owed it to the fans, and stated that it’s the reason he is so vocal on the field. “It’s what makes me hate losing…we’re losing as individuals and as a team, but we’re also losing for them. When I’m out on the pitch and I am shouting, its…trying to help my teammates,” he revealed.
