Juventus and Sassuolo are in the early stages of negotiations for the transfer of player Davide Frattesi, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Despite uncertainties with the team, Juventus’ new directors are planning for next season and Frattesi is a player of interest for both the club and coach Massimiliano Allegri.
Juventus has made their interest in Frattesi known and has begun preliminary talks with Sassuolo and the player’s agent.
Official negotiations have not yet taken place between the two clubs.
Roma was interested in Frattesi last summer but was unable to come to an agreement with Sassuolo.
Sassuolo recently sold Hamed Traore to Bournemouth for €30 million and director Giovanni Carnevali warned that Frattesi will be even more expensive at the end of the season.
Frattesi, who is 23 years old, has scored five goals in 22 appearances this season and his contract with Sassuolo runs until June 2026.
