It is highly likely that both Stuart McKinstry and Cody Drameh will never wear a Leeds United jersey again, as their departures appear to be definite.
According to the Yorkshire Evening Post on 16 May, the club and McKinstry have mutually agreed to part ways at the end of the season, and Drameh may also be on his way out.
McKinstry, a Scottish winger who joined Leeds United from Motherwell in 2019, made his first-team debut under Marcelo Bielsa in 2021.
However, he has been unable to secure a regular spot in the matchday squad and has been loaned back to his former club.
Despite initially showing promise and potential to become a regular first-team player, it appears unlikely now that McKinstry will achieve that status.
It seems that McKinstry has already played his final game for Leeds United, as his contract with the club will expire once he returns from his loan spell.
Unless there is a last-minute change of plans, McKinstry will be leaving Leeds and not signing a new contract at Elland Road.
As for Drameh, the situation is slightly different, as he still has one year remaining on his contract. However, his limited playing time is likely to have disappointed him.
Drameh has proven himself during loan spells and clearly believes he deserves a regular role in the first team.
Consequently, there is a strong likelihood that Leeds fans have seen the last of Drameh, the talented right-back, along with McKinstry.
