Leicester City and Nottingham Forest are both interested in signing Inter Milan midfielder Roberto Gagliardini, who is frustrated with his lack of playing time at the San Siro.
Gagliardini, who won the Serie A with Inter Milan, recently expressed his frustration at being on the bench and has only played seven minutes in the last four Serie A matches.
Leicester City has made contact with Gagliardini’s agent, Beppe Riso, to test the waters for a possible transfer, according to FC Inter News.
Galatasaray is also reportedly interested in the Italian midfielder. Nottingham Forest, who recently signed Jonjo Shelvey and Danilo, are also admirers of Gagliardini and could add him to their squad under Steve Cooper’s approach to squad-building.
Gagliardini made his name under Gian Piero Gasperini at Atalanta before joining Inter Milan for £20 million in 2017.
Leicester City and Nottingham Forest are both looking to strengthen their midfield and could offer Gagliardini a chance to play more regularly.
“I am no longer prepared to play so little,” the Bergamo-born 28-year-old tells Sky Italia. “Because I still feel that I am in good shape and have a lot more to give. I want to play and to make my qualities known.
“We’ll see what happens in June (when my deal runs out). I will make my decisions.”
“I would not and could not say anything negative about Mo Dahoud,” says BVB coach Edin Terzic; full of praise for his seldom-seen Germany international. “Mo is a fantastic person. An outstanding footballer with really great skills.”
