Arthur Melo is finally back in full training and is joining Virgil van Dijk and Roberto Firmino in their journey towards rejoining the Liverpool first-team.
The three players were present at the AXA Training Centre on Thursday as Liverpool prepared for their upcoming match against Everton. Arthur participated in full training while Van Dijk and Firmino conducted individual sessions.
Van Dijk has been out of action since suffering a hamstring injury in January, while Firmino has not played for Liverpool since November due to a calf injury. Arthur has been dealing with a thigh problem since his arrival from Juventus on loan.
Arthur returned to Brazil for his rehabilitation and is now working on building his fitness to help Liverpool in the second half of the season. Liverpool’s 17-year-old winger, Ben Doak, has been recovering from a thigh injury and is expected to resume training ahead of the derby.
Diogo Jota, who has been out since October with a calf injury, was also present at training and has been working to regain his fitness.
