Manchester United move ahead of Liverpool in race to sign €40m midfielder
Ashley Young and Achraf Hakimi will have to be replaced by Inter, with the latter’s deal still pending, although it’s just a matter of time before he joins PSG. Young, an ex-Manchester United winger/fullback, has returned to Aston Villa, where he is expected to retire.
According to Calciomercato, this could be excellent news for Manchester United left-back Alex Telles, who has been linked with Inter.

The Brazilian had previously donned the Inter shirt under Roberto Mancini in 2015/16, but things did not go as planned. According to reports from Italy, Inter now regard him as a “more ready and mature player,” therefore Telles’ name could be mentioned in the Milan decision-making process.
In the next campaign, Telles’ condition at United will remain unchanged. He is Luke Shaw’s back-up option, and he will not be starting unless there are injuries on the squad.
Inzaghi, on the other hand, would be acquiring a full-back who can play on both flanks and has lots of experience.
After his spectacular displays at AC Milan last season, it’s a shock they aren’t considering Diogo Dalot.
