Manchester United player Marcus Rashford has scored more goals this season than he had in the previous seasons, breaking his record.
Last season, the 25-year-old player performed dismally, with United finishing 6th in the Premier League table.
The United Academy graduate has surprised many this season by scoring 21 goals in all competitions.
Rashford, who is well known for his trademark speed and long-range shots, has four headed goals this season.
“I still feel like I can get a lot more goals from headers,” declared Rashford back in November. “I just feel like if I gamble more, then I’ll score more headers.”
According to Rashford, the first-team coach, Benni McCarthy, who primarily works with attacking players, has had an impact on his performances.
Rashford added: “He’s definitely helped me a lot. To have attack-minded coaches within the squad is great for us forward players. Day-in, day-out we’re thinking about scoring goals.
“[With headers] Getting into the right areas is one thing, but the technique and desire and wanting to get your head on the end of it, that’s what I’ve been working on.”
Rashford has been the man to watch this season for United, and Erik ten Hag believes he can do much more.
The fans look forward to seeing how many goals the Englishman will score for United this season.
