Michail Antonio has admitted that Callum Wilson would fit in well at the Hammers at one point.

On the Footballer’s Football Podcast, Antonio talked about the possibility of playing alongside the England international.

Both Michail Antonio and Callum Wilson have been the hosts of the podcast for the entire season, hence the thought of playing for the same team emerged in their conversation.

Antonio opened up, revealing that he would work well with Wilson but avoided talking about playing away from the London Stadium. He said it would be perfect if Wilson switched to West Ham United instead.

“We would complement each other, but it depends if someone is willing to take the risk. He would have to come to West Ham though,” Antonio said.

On the other hand, Wilson reacted; “Nah, I’m not leaving the Toon now, the place is too much. Sooner or later Michail’s legs will go, West Ham are going to have to replace him, and he’ll be scrambling for a club. “We might need a kitman or something and he can help there on a matchday or something,” he joked.

Callum Wilson looks set to stay at Newcastle United, but David Moyes should look into the matter should he need a new forward to partner Michail Antonio.
