Hornets sting Hawks

Charlotte Hornets ended their seven-game losing streak by beating Atlanta Hawks 144 to 138. La Melo Ball had an impressive night at Spectrum Centre by dropping another double of the season with a game high 30 points and 15 assists. The Hornets next host San Antonio spurs while the Hawks welcome New York Knicks.

Cavaliers vs Spurs

It was business as usual for Donovan Mitchel and the Cavs as they brushed the San Antonia Spurs as he dropped another 40+ point game. The Cavs edged spurs 117 to 109 recording their eighth straight win with their last loss being to the Miami Heat. On the hand Spurs took the thirteenth consecutive loss.

Utah wins on the road

Haliburton masterclass couldn’t prevent a pacers loss to Utah Jazz at home. The jazz beat pacers 123 to 117. The pacers next host Chicago Bulls who are also on a four game losing streak.
3rd win for Sixers.

It was a quite night for Joel Embiid as Philadelphia 76ers beat Houston rockets 123 to 104. The sixers big man scored 23 points as James Harden dropped a double on his former team with 28 points and 10 assists.

Heat Vs Nuggets

Nikola Jokic continued staking his claim as this season’s MVP by guiding the Denver Nuggets to win over a charge Miami Heat. Jokic was 2 assists shy of making yet another triple double. The win tightens the Nuggets hold on the western conference’s lead.

Jalen Brunson recorded a game high of 40 points as the New York knicks made it 4 wins in the last five over the Brooklyn Nets who are adapting to life post Kyrie and Durant. New comer Josh Hart contributed 27 points to the Knicks 124 points.

Paolo Banchero Magic in Chicago

Banchero guided the Orlando Magic to a resounding victory in over the Bulls as the rookie hit 22 points of Orlando’s 100 points. Zach Lavine dropped a game high of 26 points of 91 Bull’s points.

OKC thundered down by Pelicans

New Orleans pelicans recorded yet another win without Zion as they beat Oklahoma City on the road as Brandon Ingram scored a game high 34 points. Shai recorded another double but that wasn’t enough to earn them a third straight win he will be hoping to bounce back as OKC host Houston Rockets next.

Kyrie-Doncic bitten by Timberwolves in Dallas

Antony Edwards and Minnesota Timberwolves handed Kyrie and Luca Doncic a loss at American Airlines Centre. The duo combined for 69 points but Edwards 32 points ensured that the Timberwolves walked away with a 124 to 121 win. The duo hope to turn around a two-game losing streak as they visit Nikola Jokic in Denver.

Wiggs to the rescue

Golden State Warriors bounced back after a loss to the LA Lakers by beating Washington Wizards 135 to 126. The Dubs were without the injured Steph Curry and Andrew Wiggins stepped up to drop 29 points as they prepare to visit Clippers next.

Portland vs Lakers

Damian Lillard scored another 40 points and this time it was against a new look lakers who were without the leading NBA scorer Le Bron James. Newcomer Beasley had a team high for Lakers with 22 points as Anthony Davis had 19 points and 20 rebounds. Lakers host the New Orleans Pelicans at Crypto.com Arena while Portland welcome Shai and the Wizards next at Moda Centre.
