According to The Athletic, Christian Pulisic has been identified as a potential loan target for the Magpies, who may be interested in some Chelsea players.
The USA international, Pulisic, hasn’t quite lived up to the hype during his time at Chelsea, so it wouldn’t be shocking to see him go soon.
The 23-year-old might be seen as an enticing choice for a club like Newcastle as they want to spend on developing a squad that could compete with the big six in the Premier League, despite a recent Guardian story claiming that Thomas Tuchel doesn’t trust Pulisic.
Even if Pulisic hasn’t fully delivered for Chelsea, he appeared to be a standout young talent while playing for Borussia Dortmund.
Eddie Howe and Newcastle would benefit greatly if the young attacker could play more frequently and be part of a team that was formed around him.
