According to a report from 90min, Arsenal and Newcastle United are lurking in the shadows while Marcus Rashford considers his Manchester United future.
The season hasn’t been kind to Rashford. In his nine Premier League starts, he has four goals.
Rashford is concerned about his future after becoming dissatisfied with Ralf Rangnick’s leadership. Despite the fact that Rangnick is expected to step down as Manchester United’s manager this summer, the German will remain at the club for the foreseeable future.
He is said to be willing to put his future in jeopardy for now, according to the story. He’s hoping to get a chance to talk to Rangnick’s successor about what they have in store for the future.
There are numerous clubs that would be interested in signing him should he chose to depart. Arsenal, Newcastle, and West Ham are all keeping tabs on his position, according to 90min.
Rashford’s departure from Manchester United would be a massive surprise. He’s clearly a product of Manchester United’s development system, and he’s been a consistent performer for a long time.
In all competitions, he is still seven goals short of a century with the club. For his part in the team, he’s provided 58 assists. And, at the age of 24, he should still be in his prime.
He has been referred to as “world-class” in the past. There is no doubt that signing Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford from United would be a huge coup for Arsenal or Newcastle.
There is little doubt that the likes of Rangnick and the future manager at Manchester United would take a major risk if they allowed him to leave.
For some time, his form has been a cause of worry. That he didn’t play in the Manchester derby on Sunday seemed worrisome.
It’s possible, however, that some of his Premier League followers may see him as an excellent acquisition for them.
