At this stage, no one but Steve Cooper actually understands how he’s going to manage his players this season, or where he will place some of them.

If you also thought that 12 signings were too much in a single transfer period, you’ll have to think again because Cooper is still in the market and is not to sell.

Recent reports link Nottingham Forest to Benfica’s sensational striker, Goncalo Ramos (Record), and Atalanta’s Remo Freuler (Tuttomercattoweb), whose purchase will raise Forest’s spending this summer to a whopping 100 million+ pounds.

Ramos, who impressed in the UCL last season and earlier this week, reportedly goes for 25 million pounds, a figure that’ll surpass Taiwo Awoniyi’s record as Nottingham’s most expensive signing ever.

Neither side has revealed more about the striker’s deal despite the said talks, though, so it’s unclear how the talks are progressing.

Forest have, however (per reports) offered 6M for Freuler, who allegedly wants to move to England.

The 30-year-old Swiss whom BBC thought isn’t given the value he is due two years ago isn’t just more experienced and less costly, but fits Cooper’s style and system more.

Steve would want to have them both at City Ground for sure, but if for some reason he can only choose one, Remo, the conductor of the orchestra (by Fabrizio Carcano), is a more likely and smarter choice than the Portuguese youngster.
