Celtic are at long last expected to complete the long term deal for Portuguese João Pedro Neves Filipe (Jota), according to reports from media in Portugal.
A Bola reports that the Hoops have already agreed personal terms with the player as they are now set to activate their buyout clause involving the star.
The Scottish Premiership champions are set to pay €7.5m for Jota, with the full transfer process to be completed in the coming days.
It was earlier speculated that the deal had already been finalised, but it later came to emerge that the Hoops and Jota had not agreed on personal terms.
Benfica are now assured of a percentage of a future transfer of Jota as his permanent transfer to Celtic is finally about to be completed.
Jota managed to score 13 goals and 14 assists in 40 appearances for the Scottish club during his loan spell.
His young age and massive talent gave Celtic bosses a good reason why they needed him in their backyard for longer.
