According to reports, PSG may request Paul Pogba to terminate his contract at Manchester United so that he may join the club on a free transfer next summer.

In recent weeks, the Frenchman, who is in the final year of his current contract at Old Trafford, has been widely linked with a move to Paris.

Since his return to Old Trafford from Juventus in 2016, the 28-year-old has played a vital role for the Red Devils.

Last season, he made 42 outings for United across all competitions, scoring six goals and providing 10 assists.

However, as his contract expires, Man Utd’s record signing seems to be facing an unclear future.

In October last year, the club signed a one-year extension, keeping him on the books until the summer of 2022.

United are said to be interested in re-signing Pogba, but there has been no real progress to date, and there are even claims that the player has turned down United’s offer of a new contract.

United is torn between selling the midfielder this summer and risking losing him as a free agent at the end of the campaign as a result of the scenario.

PSG is thought to have a great interest in Pogba and has been keeping tabs on the issue as they consider a bid for his services.
