According to Chris Jack, Ryan Jack might be out for another six weeks as the Rangers midfielder recovers from an injury setback.

The midfielder may not return to Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side until February, according to the Glasgow Evening Times journalist.

Ryan Jack has been sidelined with what appears to be a repeat of a calf injury since December 4, and it’s unclear that he’ll return anytime soon.

“He’s had this latest setback and it seems a bit of a long road,” Chris Jack told GiveMeSport when discussing Ryan Jack.

“Another couple of weeks before he’s back in the fold, another couple of weeks to get him back up to speed and then another couple of weeks for him to establish himself in the team again. So, it’s looking like a frustrating start to the year for Ryan.”

Jack’s injury problems are becoming worse, and you need to start thinking about his long-term prospects.

He is expected to be among the highest earners at Ibrox, as well as a member of the Europa League team.

Jack always seemed to come back hurt whenever he played for Scotland. He’s never seemed completely at ease playing twice a week for more than a few weeks in a season, and he hasn’t played in over a year and a half.

After this season, Jack will reach the final year of his contract, and we’d be surprised if the Rangers choose to extend it based on how things are going.
