Scotland’s Kieran Tierney crowned his impressive performances this season with a maiden international goal to earn Scotland a draw against Poland during the ongoing international break.

The 24-year-old Arsenal defender has had a brilliant season with the Gunners, netting once in his 22 appearances.

According to reports, the Scotland international’s performance has earned the admiration of Spanish giants Barca and Real, and it’s highly possible that he (Tierney) will make a move to Spanish league leaders, Real Madrid, this summer.

The Sunday Post reported that Real might part with as much as 50 million euros for the star after a successful scouting period in which the Scot impressed scout Juni Calafat more than the initial target, Bukayo Saka, did.

The record 13-time UCL champions and current La Liga leaders have been trying to improve their squad, and they might fight it out with rivals Barca if Tierney is willing to leave England.

This is Carlo Ancelotti’s second attempt to sign the Scot after an unsuccessful bid when the latter was at Celtic, and though the right price could earn him the defender’s signature come the summer, Kieran is still contracted to Arsenal until 2026, which could prove problematic.

Time will tell whether the Spanish side’s terms will be attractive enough.
