Manchester United are keeping tabs on Everton’s 24-year-old attacker ahead of a possible summer transfer, according to Goal Brazil, as reported by The Daily Mail.
It’s been reported that when Edinson Cavani’s contract expires at the end of the season, Man Utd will be looking to replace him with a new striker.
According to the same report, Manchester United have been tracking Richarlison for the better part of two years and have a long-standing interest in him.
Several quotes from the player himself are included in the story, in which he refuses to discuss his future.
“Look, I have two more years on my contract here,” Richarlison is quoted as saying in the same article. “It’s hard to talk about leaving, because I have great affection for Everton, I have music, I have everything here.
“It’s very complicated to talk about leaving, I’m not prepared for this moment, but the we never know tomorrow.
“We have to be aware and prepared for everything. Let’s make this season there so that, in the next one, we can see what will happen.”
Several Manchester United’s summer transfer deals will depend on the club’s new permanent boss being in place by the end of the season.
The club is still yet to make an official announcement, but Mauricio Pochettino, and Erik ten Hag are two names being mentioned as potential candidates.
