Sean Dyche is optimistic about Amadou Onana’s return to the Everton squad when they play against Newcastle on Thursday, following the team’s draw with Crystal Palace.

Onana, who suffered a groin injury, has been out of action for the last two games. Meanwhile, Seamus Coleman, who is the team’s captain, has missed the last three games because of a hamstring problem that he picked up while playing for his national team.

However, both players are making progress in their recovery, and Dyche believes that they could be fit enough to play in the upcoming match at Goodison Park.

Abdoulaye Doucoure will also be available again after serving a three-game suspension for hitting Harry Kane. However, Ruben Vinagre, Andros Townsend, and Mason Holgate will not play due to injuries or suspension.

Dyche has been facing significant challenges in the midfield department, which has affected the team’s results, as they have managed to secure only one point from their last three games.

With six matches remaining, Everton is currently in the relegation zone, and therefore, they need to collect as many points as possible to avoid dropping to a lower league.

However, they face a tough opponent in Newcastle, who recently defeated Tottenham. Nevertheless, Dyche is hopeful that his team’s chances of winning will be boosted if Onana and Coleman return to the side, and with Doucoure back from suspension, and Dominic Calvert-Lewin returning to full fitness.

Everton needs to start winning games, and to achieve that, they need their best players to be available and in good form. The coming matches will be crucial, and Dyche needs to ensure that his team secures as many points as possible to avoid relegation.

Amadou Onana and Seamus Coleman injury update

Sean Dyche is optimistic that Amadou Onana will be able to return to the Everton squad for their upcoming game against Newcastle United on Thursday.

Onana has been absent from the team due to a groin injury and was not able to play in their previous two games, including their 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace last weekend.

This result saw Everton drop into the Premier League relegation zone, and they have just six games left to secure their place in the top-flight.

Everton’s upcoming match against Newcastle will see the return of Abdoulaye Doucoure after serving a three-match suspension for hitting Harry Kane.

However, captain Seamus Coleman may not be available as he has missed the previous two matches due to a hamstring injury, and his status for the game against Newcastle is uncertain.

Despite training ahead of the game against Crystal Palace, Onana was not included in the squad. The Toffees face a challenging opponent in Newcastle, who recently thrashed Tottenham 6-1, and they will need all their key players available to secure a much-needed victory.

Dyche said at his post-Palace press conference: “Seamus is making good progress, Douc is out of suspension and Amadou we’ll see how he is over the weekend. We’re hopeful on them players and wait and see with Seamus.”
