Bielsa’s whole coaching staff has followed him out of Leeds United after he was fired on Sunday morning, according to Phil Hay.
There have been numerous departures from Elland Road, according to the journalist, including Pablo Quiroga and Diego Flores.
There will be one more meeting with the players on Monday before Bielsa heads back to Argentina, according to Hay.
On Monday morning, Hay wrote an article for The Athletic in which he provided the latest information on the Bielsa staff at Thorp Arch.
“Others from the backroom staff joined Bielsa out of the door, including assistants Pablo Quiroga and Diego Flores and fitness coach Benoit Delaval. Some of his analysts were expected to move on with them.
“He spent time with those closest to him on Saturday evening and was at Thorp Arch on Sunday to see some of the wider staff, visibly tearful as he tied up loose ends and pictured life away from a complex which he virtually lived in for almost four years.
“He is due to hold a last meeting with the club’s players today before preparing for a flight to Argentina, the final leg in one of his biggest adventures.”
Every member of Bielsa’s crew was as devoted to the coach as anyone could have hoped.
Over 50 times, they had watched Leeds before accepting the position, which would have been a large part of their responsibility.
When it comes to constructing a new team for West Yorkshire, it looks like Jesse Marsch will be leading the charge.
Although this is a terrible turn of events not assisted by injuries or a lack of transfer activity, we must get behind him and his club.
